A bit more about Beth…
Discovering a passion for radio presenting whilst at university, Beth discovered her aptitude for voiceover whilst working for a community radio station in 2011. As much a surprise to her as anyone, she won a competition to cut her first demo through Voices Pro and hasn’t looked back since. She can be found recording most days from her home studio in Norwich and has acquired a range of experience in commercial, corporate and narrative voiceover.
Growing up in mid-Wales Beth often records in a Welsh accent along with her natural RP delivery and, as some of her clients do not have English as a first language, has proven herself to be both a confident copywriter and helpful proofreader if it benefits the final recording.
Fast turnarounds, clear communication both over the phone and via email, along with quality recordings ensure that Beth has built up a loyal customer-base who return for more audio time and time again. As a proud member of The Voiceover Network, Beth has completed training courses with voice actors Dave Fennoy on the techniques of video game voiceover, and Dian Perry on voiceover for animation; both her favourite areas of the voiceover world.
As well as this Beth is a freelance presenter for both radio and television. She spent three years hosting a daily magazine show for Mustard TV and as the face of Beth’s Book Club; a monthly literary panel review of all the country has to offer. After the stations closure in 2017, Beth returned to her routes in radio as a weekend presenter for Heart East Anglia. Here she learned the skills of live radio and undertook a 12 month contract entertaining the listeners of East Anglia.
Having had training on auto-cue and in-ear direction Beth is a confident presenter both in studio and on location. Scripting and producing her own features she’s not afraid of a challenge and loves sinking her teeth into any new presenting opportunity. More recently Beth hosted her first business conference with the Norwich Chamber of Commerce looking at the evolution and development of technology within business to an audience of entrepreneurs and tech fanatics.
