As a kid she failed at horse riding, spectacularly dislocating her shoulder. Later she would fail at rollerblading, attempting a pirouette and instead fracturing her ankle. Her worst subject in school was, unsurprisingly, P.E. – a class she would often manage to miss thanks to vague yet sincere sick notes written by her mum (whose handwriting, incidentally, was suspiciously close to her own). Like the time, at the age of 22, that she stopped working in retail and decided to pursue a life as a voiceover artist. Like how she invested in a broadcast quality home studio and gained industry training on top of the range audio software. It was scary and exciting all at the same time, with plenty of ups and down along the way, but it was a huge success for her inner performer who was yearning to use her creativity.
